Further to the delays encountered globally in the supply of various electronic parts, our Principals. Messrs. Alfa Laval, Boiler Business Unit – Marine Division have been advised by their sub-suppliers that significant delays are anticipated at:

• Ari pneumatic control valves with DP Actuator (FW valve pneumatic systems)
• FD Fan positioners (pneumatic controlled)
• ECR PC stations

Kindly also note that the ECR PC type d510/d530/HP6600/HP6700/HP7600/HP7700/HP8800 is currently obsolete and a new marine type PC is to be supplied if replacement is necessary, while an upgrade on controllers might be required subject to configuration.

Therefore, we would like to encourage you to preventively check your inventories and reserve required items and/or alternatively consider:

1. Feed Water Valve (motor valve) Upgrade as a replacement
2. FD Fan motor valve Upgrade as a replacement of the existing system
3. Supply of a new marine type ECR PC pre-programmed, wherever applicable (subject to vessel’s configuration) or upgrade to the new siemens simatic control system

All the aforementioned have shorter lead time while they significantly improve the system’s control.
