Jets Standard A.S. is a company in the Jets group that since 1986, it has become the leading innovator in vacuum sanitation technology. During the last 10 years Jets is applying the corporation’s vacuum technology to onshore and land-based sanitation. Scalable onshore solutions that include mobile units and cabin toilets with no means of water or electricity.
Because of the reduced sewage volumes, treating or storing the sewage is less demanding than when dealing with traditional toilets.
• Environmentally friendly
• Low water consumption
• Less sewage
• Small piping diameter
• Flexible installation independent of gravity
25% of the world’s fresh water is used to transport human waste through traditional gravity toilets. A typical western citizen uses 17,000 liters of water every year to flush toilets, and every time you flush you are using at least 8 liters of fresh water to transport 0,2 liters of human waste. Jets™ is committed to changing these numbers, and we have been doing it successfully for decades.
The way we change the numbers is by changing the composition of the sewage. Our vacuum systems use mostly air to transport the 0,2 litres of human waste. Less than a litre of water is used – compared to at least 8 litres in gravity toilets. Time is running out for the traditional toilet. Time has come for change; for sustainable solutions and vacuum toilets.
As water prices have gone up and sewage treatment costs are next, people have opened their eyes to the benefits of Jets™ systems which reduce that first number from 25% to 5% of the world’s fresh water, and also reduce the water amount for human waste transportation from 17,000 litres to just 2,000 litres a year per person.
