STEEN was established at Elmshorn, in northern Germany in 1893. Since then, the company has developed continuously and is now one of the world’s leading manufacturers of deck machinery.
Besides anchoring, mooring, towing and cargo handling equipment, Steen also supplies deck machinery for yachts, navy ships, and merchant vessels, including custom-made winches in stainless steel execution. Steen products are of the highest quality that meets with the most stringent requirements for yacht and Navy applications
Steen’s designers strive to ensure that their designs are simple for the shipyard to install. The shipbuilder is also assisted by the fact that much of the testing of the equipment’s main functions can be carried out at Steen’s works prior to delivery to the shipyard.
